Q. When I view my .dwg preplans in Remote Access v 6.5.2.2 there is text showing in the viewer over the preplan. It appears I am running an evaluation version. How can I get this fixed?
A. Early installation files for 6.5.2.x were sent out while waiting for a fix from the provider of the .DWG viewer control used in RA. To correct the problem, download the installation package from the link below. This will install the required files to correct the problem. When prompted, save the installer to your desktop and after the downloading completes, double click the saved file to start the installation. Follow the on-screen prompts as presented.
Note - When prompted to select an installation folder for the new file, click Browse and navigate to the c:\windows\system32 folder before clicking Next. Also select the Everyone option at the bottom of the screen.

Q. I added a new layer to the System Map list on the System Map tab but the layer doesn't appear in the Profile Map list. What causes this problem?
A. When added or changing a layer on either the System Map or Profile Map tab the + button next to the list must be clicked to commit your change to the list.
RA_Mobile
Q. Remote Access takes a long time loading and reports that the mobile interface is not licensed. I have purchased RA_Mobile and it is installed in the \Communicator folder. What is wrong?
A. The RA_Mobile.exe has not been registered correctly. This may happen during upgrades when a new version of RA_Moble is loaded. To correct the problem:
- Browse to the C:\Program Files\RA\Comunicator folder in Windows Explorer
- Point and right mouse click on the RA_Mobile.EXE file and select Unregister
- Point and right mouse click on the RA_Mobile.EXE file and select Register
- Restart Remote Access
Note - In version 6.5.1.X abnd above the RA_Mobile icon in the task bar will turn grey if the RA_Mobile.EXE is not registered or functioning properly. Click here for the RA_Mobile Update Procedures in PDF.
