Group 1 has been serving local government since 1993. At its roots is the commitment to help local governments operate as effectively as possible to meet the challenges unique to local government operations.

For many years the company offered services from two Divisions, Group 1 Resources, Inc., which focused on management consulting, and Group 1 Conversion Services, Inc., which focused on GIS development and drawing conversion. Through these two Divisions, Group 1 steadily grew to include key personnel with operations backgrounds in most aspects of local government, including MIS, public safety, city management, departmental management, etc.

Group 1 Solutions, Inc. is the result of this evolution: a company of government professionals, operating with a consultant's perspective, meeting the challenges of fire, law enforcement and the military in preparing and defending our homeland.
